I’m glad they haven’t been forgotten since the cancellation of the last Excalibur series. Another thing that I’ve enjoyed about this series is the inclusion of the Inhumans. It’s been a while since I’ve read them in anything, so it’s a treat to see them being well used here. The only one missing is Triton, who seems to be nowhere to be found for some reason. The confrontation between Magneto and Pietro was great, with Pietro unveiling another new aspect of his creepy new powers. Magneto. How the mighty have fallen. He is living in despair right now, but he’s still got some fight left in him. It will be interesting to see what happens with him now that he is depowered, and so far I have yet to be disappointed. What’s with Medusa wearing that trampy outfit? Isn’t that a bit risque for a queen? And the ending....great cliffhanger! Seeing that last panel with Luna sent a huge chill rippling down my spine! Luna Maximoff, unleashed next issue! Seeing her father get shot in the back by those punk ass government agents has really ticked her off! I’m really scared for her right now, but I am also excited to see if she can kick some butt with her new powers! Great series! There’s only one more issue to go, and I have a feeling it’s going to be a big one. One that will truly be shocking. I can feel it. I know I won’t be disappointed. Can’t wait to read it. Oh, and by the way, my girl Wanda appeared on the very first page of this issue via the flashback to House of M! Yay!

From the very beginning, this series as wowed me. It’s been engaging, exciting and even downright creepy. And the cliffhangers have been just as amazing. And this issue is certainly no exception.
