I don't know much about getting spellcheck to function . Except for posting pictures I stay on Safari for most everything , and my spellcheck is working on Safari .
I don't see many Palmettos around here . Thanks to this board and reading other things on the internet I have a really good system of protecting them . I lost 2 out of 3 Palmettos when I had 8 days below 32F which I don't remember that ever happening here before . Some kind of 100 year weather event . My palmettos had live tissue and recovered in one season after winter lows of 4F and 5F with consecutive lowest winter lows . They just couldn't take day after day without a thaw . I'll remember that if anything looks anywhere near that bad in the future .
I think that in really good microclimates around here they could be long term survivors , and of course I protect most anytime I see below 8F , and or prolonged cold .
