I have a Filifera that Phil (from Atlanta) sent me in 2009. Eleven years ago. I potted it up ONCE, then never repotted it. This managed to keep the palm from growing like a weed. Over the last 4 or 5 years, it's stayed in that 6.5 to 7 foot range, meaning, I can still keep bringing it indoors for the winter. Imagine how tall it would be in the ground in a Zone 9 location. A hell of a lot taller than 7 feet in 11 years!
