( Edit : That 24F will further help me learn the frond hardiness of my Washy . )
I had 2 nights at 25F in a row on the morning of 11/28 and 11/29 , and the picture below was taken on 11/30 , last Friday , the day after the last 25F .
Today , Sunday 12/02 , and I see some burn at the lower fronds . I thought this palm was frond hardy to 25F but it might be more like 24F . It may burn more over the coming week or two but I'm pretty sure 25F won't totally bronze it out . Good to know it might be a little more frond hardy than I thought . I hope I can make it close to or into January with it looking decent . It is trunk hardy to at least 17F .https://flic.kr/p/2diLfrX
Thanks for looking .
