Sam, thanks for the info. FWIW agree that at this point we are looking at statistics that may cause various scenarios which may translate into real weather. "exotic" gardeners are kind of dreamers and gamblers and sometimes "mother nature" can smile or frown on our gardens and our plants. hopefully, everyone everywhere and all their plants will come through o.k. and will spared any potentially painful "learning experiences". OTOH, I really hope the far west gets a bunch of rain---but not all at one time just enough to stop the drought and the fire danger here. good luck to all.
