I have some closer pics of the one on the top. There might be a 3rd one between them but I couldn't tell at that time of the evening. That rock face faces west:

The one on the top through a large binoculars. The leaves seemed to be an angled diamond-like shape. It also looks like it has either died back at various times or dies back each winter:
If I get a chance before fall, I'll try to get a better photo on a sunny day. I didn't want to climb over loose rocks in the evening there because I know there are poisonous snakes all around that cliff base.
This was about 75 yards away from it. The mystery plant leaves looked the similar to these but these were rounder and darker green leaves. This might be a Paulownia Royal Empress Tree or Princess Tree[?]:
