Thanks for posting this update Will. I've got one small birmingham in the ground here already and I have another that is probably 15 gallon size that I may wait to plant out until next season. (It's been a busy summer, so I haven't gotten nearly as much planting done as I would like)
Mine have been pretty hardy in their pots over the years and I am optimistic about how they will do in the ground for me.
