I love Y. filamentosa. They look good all year, blooming or otherwise.
My own is blooming right now. In fact, I was smelling the blossoms before I left for work this morning! The flowers are pleasantly fragrant.
This ground-hugging species of Yucca is a near-perfect Sabal minor substitute for those living in 6b and colder areas.
