Re: Message Board Analytics / Missed Members
I used to post more often in the past, approximately 10 to 12 years ago. I lived in Lawrenceburg TN and had a pretty good collection of palms and eucalyptus. I began to travel quite extensively for my job and found it difficult to keep up with my plants, let alone the board. I have recently moved to the Memphis area and am beginning to start again. I have two Washingtonias in the ground and they made it through the winter with protection. I really like that genus in that it is not hard to protect and they are quite nice. I lost a trachy that I did not protect which surprised me a bit. It was a new planting last year so it was really my fault for not protecting it. I have recently started some Trach takils and want to get them in the ground but likely will wait until next year. I may plant one or two just to see how tough they are while young.
