Issaqua is Really Cold
How's it going John? I hope everything is great on the coast.
It was cold in 2010, but in the Seattle area and on the peninsula most Eucalyptus survived. Some are massive and I've posted pics of some that were damaged in 1990, but they are huge trees now
Issaquah is in the foothills and get's much colder than lowland areas, but from witnessing your garden first hand, it's crazy what you were growing there. And, John... That Rhapidophyllum was very impressive.
Most of Western Washington and Oregon only lost tender Eucs. I lost only one. It was a hybrid Eucalyptus viminilus x dalrympleana.
