Re: My variegated Monstera with fruit - 3 pothos/philo combo pics
It was just labeled "Variegated Monstera". Its never been indoors. Its had a rough history. It started as a porch potted plant..grew fairly fast. Then i planted it in ground Jay toward the back of the yard. Months later I walked back there and saw- all the lower stem within one or two inches from the ground was gone- eaten by gophers. It was living on the aerial roots that touched ground..those the gophers ignored.
A couple of weeks ago I put it where I can see it and gophers are less of a problem away from the empty lot next door.
Now,its lets see.
btw!..I broke the lower stem trying to lift it all out of the ground so later I will move that into a pot or under my King palms.
Its never shown any frost damage down to 32f. Now,more exposed we will see.
