yes, the PNW is blessed to have the climate to allow successful cultivation of a wide variety of stuff that rather likes dry but relatively cool summers and cool and moist winters (i.e. the "Mediterranean" type climate). there is always stuff that doesn't do well here that would be wonderful to have but on balance we have lots of wonderful plants to grow and much to be grateful for.
