Rainy May in the East

It seems like this past week, much of the East Coast was inundated with rain. I measured just shy of 6" since end of last week. With a potential tropical disturbance trying to form, it could be another soggy weekend. Some models are showing another 4-8" in the next 7-10 days. Hard to imagine, but we have not seen the sun at all in almost 7 days now with the tropical conveyer belt of moisture streaming up. Interesting pattern.
