Hi Stan. Yeah, the Trachycarpus look great with a clean trunk. There are Chocolate Albizia's sold in local nurseries and my cousin has one in her yard. The only problem I have with Albizia is that they are so late to push out leaves, and too early to drop them.
The less time with the 'dead stick' look, the better. IMHO.
