I caught the palm bug only a few years ago, and Iím most interested in the hardiest palms. I donít want to grow anything out of zone (except as a houseplant), Iím perfectly content with Needles, Minors, and Trachys. I want to actually SEE my palms during the winter, any protection will be minimal and very temporary.
Once Iím in a warmer climate, my palm palette will undoubtedly expand, but for now Iím just grateful my zone 7b climate can support anything at all.
