Re: Needles and azaleas?

Jim, the color of the needles is definitely part of my reasoning behind this idea. My needles in pots tend to turn a lighter green shade when they get too much sun, especially in winter.
My main goals were: evergreen, colors, and easy. Azaleas are quite common here and thrive in North facing plantings. Needles are also pretty easy here, though I feel like they will not thrive in too much sun.
Our house is white with a farmhouse style. I've been really thinking of pink and/or purple colored azaleas, but anything besides white would probably work.
Thanks for your thoughts Jim.
