I'll chime in here as well--while I am on Facebook and check it fairly regularly, I feel like Facebook (and Twitter too) kind of lowers your "IQ"*. I generally don't think looking at things for 2 seconds at a time, then moving on, really adds much value to the mind (excepting when you find that "really interesting thing" that makes it worth staying for awhile). The mind learns best when it focuses on one concept for awhile and reflects. The Hardy Palm board in general would appeal to the later, since we sometimes will get into more depth with the topics.
* Note with the IQ--it's an overly simplistic way of measuring intelligence, but I like to use this term for its effects!
Anyway, nice pics up in the Pac NW. Lots of unique plants due well up there that don't really thrive anywhere else in the US. Looks like spring is doing its job as well (unlike in a lot of the US east of the Rockies where it's definitely delayed compared to other years).
