Bruce , it is a Juniper of some sort . Juniperus chenensis "Torulosa " ? They grow well here too .
Gary , in New Bern , said he got froze out during the 9 day freeze in early January . He said he hit 0F and had other single digits . He thinks it was about a 100 year cold event . I only got down to 7F , but I should have similar problems with my Palmettos . Gary said he may lose some of his big thick trunked specimens .
I may have lost Shaq and Curly and a few other things . How did you do on the Outer Banks .
