yes, it's a beautiful tree---especially at this time of year when it starts to flower. it can have brittle branches that can be damaged in high winds and in climates with warm moist summers like "back east" it can self-seed and become a "weed" in places---but a beautiful weed, indeed. have found that the big leaves decompose very quickly and in about a month (here at least) they are basically gone.
