Jim - yes, we're supposed to get snow Sat & Mon but it will be near or above 40 deg. This is the only year I've kept my snow shovels & ice melt out during Spring. I plan to repot and when doing so I'll check the corm/roots for rot. My relatives have kept Musa Basjoos over winters indoors with no issues. My home is more humid that theirs though. On the flip side I cannot grow a single sunflower outdoors but they can...but I can grow Cilantro like weeds and they can't at all.
Joe - it's not mites. I've had them before. I've been looking over my plants carefully and none had them this winter. A Ligustrum had a handful of Aphids though. I sprayed with All Seasons oil and they're gone. I did repot with a sandless mix. The first mix had sand. I'll repot with some sand and fertilize.
WSimpson - it's getting more sun each day. It gets about a half day of mostly full sun now that it's April. I'll start putting outside on warmer days. Maybe I'll try the water bucket next winter since this is not working well for me. My outdoor ones do thrive after each winter.
