Maybe spider mites. Wash the leaves with mild detergent and then fertilize with miracle gro at half strength. Make sure the banana was well watered before you fertilize and that the pot drains freely. If it has been in the same organic potting soil for a while, the soil might be breaking down. If so, repot, but use a little coarse sand in the commercial potting mix. Also, provide an inch or so of gravel in the bottom of the pot to ensure good drainage.
