Worried about killing flowers and palms the same time as weeds/grass- Spectracide
Posted by Tommy Nashville-Miami on 3/30/2018, 7:28 am
I purchased some Spectracide Weed & Grass Foaming Edger that claims to kill the root of weeds and grass.
I have so many areas of mulch and invasive Bermuda grass that I have accepted I will never get rid of because it blows in from every yard in the county. Anyway, this year since we've already had quite a bit of warmth starting in February, I had a nice head-start on yard work.
Question: Is this Spectracide safe to spray near palms (even palm seedlings) and flower seedlings? I usually don't scatter flower seed but I decided to and things are really popping but so is the annoying Bermuda nightmare grass. I would be spraying right up to the large above ground roots of Crepe myrtles and very close to minors, etc.
