That filifera looks fantastic Jim.
When I was in the Air Force, I was stationed at Lackland Air Force Base for basic training.
Loved the river boat rides and all of the Sabals along the river.
This was in 1985, and it had to be cold there, because in our 'yearbooks', it showed banana's growing in multiple places on base and they were completely gone when I came through, not even re-sprouting when the morning temps (5am) were so hot to give me an instant headache.
