It's really surprising how many people have planted Redwoods here in the Seattle area over the years. They are now doubt beautiful, but they don't really distinguish themselves much among the Douglas firs.
Sequoiadendron giganteum seems to be planted in groves at parks and green spaces, while Sequoia sempervirens tends to be planted at the edge of properties near roads or the back of the lot. They blend in well, but if you start looking they seem to be everywhere.
