Rains ...dont make for irrigation.

Here guys,its the snow pack that delivers our drinking and home water. Rains are only nice in that we dont have to water yards in winter.
SOME communities like wealthy Marin..DO rely on there little lakes for all their water. They want to keep people away..but when we have dry years? They are up a creek. Those little lakes go down and they are like in the 10 gallons a day use. An exotic yard killer.
So far March and last years winter make for a non drought year.
But conserve is good for the bank account. As always,water is not the almost free commodity it was most of my life.
