Sounds OK Ken .
My Meds don't look good but the petioles are green . The Butia in the best microclimate has a lot of green fronds still and will be fine . I had a bad prolonged cold with a low of 8F and another cold snap , less severe with another low of 8F . Other than that it would've been a mild winter for here .
