Same here as far as a better month. NJ had a High of 82F last week. Lol. Not only the Warmest Feb. day ever, but for many up here the Hottest Day ever recorded for the entire Metoerological Winter! There was an 80F in MA too!
I would hope your damage seen is mainly foliar. You're perhaps seeing and discovering for the first time how your palms are reacting to the amount of cold you had? And the Feb. warmth sure seems to be accelerating the pace of recovery. If everything pulls thru, maybe you'll have more confidence should that type of cold ever occur again?
