Here, it's generally pretty mild, but we don't get enough heat to really get the sugar into subtropicals to help them through a cold snap. Also, what would get huge in one season in the South East, might take two seasons (or three) here. And we're not mild enough for tender perennials most of the time.
I 'think' it got down to 27f to 29f in the city, and it's supposed to get to 26f tonight. Will be interesting to see how these plants do. I'm fairly certain they'll be mush.
