I think I pretty much see all the damage on that Nainital . I remember when the low temperature was 4F and there was a shriveling of the fronds on my Trachys . I don't see that shriveling of the fronds on any of my Trachys this winter .
Duration is bad but I think 8F for a Trachy doesn't do that much damage except for the least hardy parts of the plant , like the tips of the spears . My Nainital looks perfect without even that rainbow affect showing up at all ( it may take longer to see that rainbow damage ) . The spears have been growing too , and I don't see anything like I do on all the other Trachys .
I'll keep the board posted and update if I start to see any damage on that Nainital , but so far nothing is showing .
