interesting. thanks for the info. it's interesting that for better or worse and right, wrong, or indifferent the Sunset Western Garden Book (which sad to say is NOT infallible)does not "recommend" this tree for anything colder than their zones 13 (low desert) and 23, 24 (mildest parts of coastal and near-coastal Southern California). you learn something new and true every day and sometimes the "experts" who write books are WRONG, LOL.
