I hate to be a hater, but queens are awful. I don't find them attractive at all. The fronds are long and spindly and they cause considerable damage to roofs and vehicles. They have no redeeming qualities IMO. If I buy a house wuth a queen, I promise I will cut it down.
You nailed it on the standard landscaping. I haven't found many things out of the ordinary since I've been here and I am out and about all day long. If you mean foxtails and Christmas palms, I see them everywhere, and on the east side of Orlando, they fared well for the most part.
