I used to talk about this on this very message board years ago. ...The feasibility of painting dead fronds green. How would it look? How long would it hold up? How long before the elements and decomposition took over and leaves flaked away?
I like the results on your Washy, except that I would've gone for a different, darker shade of green.
Another interesting (and fun) possibility would be to paint each frond a different color. They could all be bright colors. One frond white, another red, another blue, and so on.
