With a forecast the next 2 weeks of 70s/50s, I went ahead and fertilized and trimmed this weekend. I typically fertilize 4 times a year although I'm thinking of starting twice per summer during the rainy season. Did some cleanup this weekend. Had about 50-75% damage to Hawaiian Ti. About 50% damage to my dracaena corn plant (all green variety).
My bottle palm opening its new frond.
My coconut is really banged up.
but the coconut center is still very green and the new spear is pushing through.
My bromeliads got a little zapped.
Around my neighborhood...
This foxtail looks unfazed.
These royals fared well.
Nice majesty. This owner has another slightly larger one.
Some other palms around town...
This royal didn't fare to well.
King Palms are nice looking. Didn't realize they were so sensitive to cold. I think this will be ok.
