My plants were bought as HC Palmettos but they have now totally matured as far as the root system goes , and they are trunking and putting out many inflorescences every year .
I use fertilizer from One Site , which used to be John Deere Landscapes . Check them out on the internet .
I had to order palm and tropical fertilizer from Wilmington , NC to my local branch . . I'm going to order 2 50lb bags this spring .
That less hardy Palmetto looked like this last summer , and has grown fast after some zone 7 winters over the last 5 winters too .
