Last weekend Phoenix got some rain. So Flagstaff two hours north of where I live in PHX for snow. I took my kids sledding for the second year in a row.
It's wasn't a lot by Flagstaff standards, but it was enough for us.
The lack of plant diversity would get to me if I lived in Flagstaff. Pines or Aspens for trees, not much else. Beautiful to visit for sure. Stunning, then boring.
Last Sunday I was standing in a sunny and mild 34 degree in Flagstaff.
A week later and now we're going to have perhaps some of the best weather of the year here. I always feel that we never get enough 80's. In winter we get plenty of 50's, 60's, 70's. In Summer we get plenty of 100's and 110's. Fall and Spring feel like they bring as many 90's as 80's.
So this forecast will make the folks at the Phoenix Open happy. The week long event has been average over half a million people.
