I didn't realize foxtails and Christmas palms were that sensitive, especially considering how prevalent they are in landscapes. I am in a 9b area of Tampa not far from 10A, but I was shocked it got to 26F here. Apparently, that is not abnormal at all. I have seen very few mangoes that aren't fried. There was a lot of protection going on here though, so I wonder if healthy looking plants were protected or if it was a microclimate effect.
