The red crinums surprised me
I have seen the green version handle hard freezes pretty well, so when my red crinum was melted after the first frost of the season I was really surprised. They are still alive, but they don't look as nice at the moment. Up here even some green crinums out in the open melted in the cold. We got down to 24F. Some freezes were 12 hours long at a time!
