My protection is probably good for my Washy filibusta below 17F . You can't go wrong with C7 Chrismas lights because they don't ever get hot but do a great job of keeping the trunk warm when wrapped with blankets . I cooked one of my Butias by adding a 100 watt build and 2 other clumps of unopened C7 lights along with covering it with a couple of blankets . It was so hot under those blankets that the trunk was hot to the touch .
I mainly only protect Butias , Washys and Med Fans .
