It might be the mildest winter I've ever had for growing tropicals. Although in 2014 we had a January that ave 66F. Still,we did have a light frost that year.
This year slightly above average highs but no frost at all. I think I choose a year where there is no setback at all.
Its hard to describe because I loved all that warm sun in January of 2014...this year its rainy..but not cold, just cool. A warmer 10a winter vs a cooler 10b winter. Maybe just a bay area thing to have happen.
