Worst La Niña in 67 years

Going back and looking at things here lately and I can’t find a La Niña where Knoxville got below 9F. This year? 7F!I knew one was borderline anyway and felt ifvthe AO went negative we might be in trouble. But the AO hasn’t been deeply into the negative range. So there’s lies and damn statistics, then there’s the weather. Not all locations have been bad though. Chattanooga is still having an 8a winter. Knoxville is 7b. Still above zonal averages. But the Carolinas have been terrible. Going forward, things look better for the rest of January, but I still fear February may bring some snow to the South before turning into what I think may be a violent spring.
Hope all are hanging in there.
