Wow...definitely a possibility. I see some online literature says K. marmorata must stay at/above 54 degrees, but that might be more for potted plants and could suggest the lowest average temperature (coldest month or coldest few weeks of the year) it will survive versus the coldest minimums. Of course, it could be a hybrid with at least some K. marmorata parentage.
