This past summer I had over 100 sabal minor seedlings that sprouted in the spring despite our very cold winter (it is 13 degrees right now). So, I pulled them out and planted them in seedling trays. Now they are in my basement under grow lights. Unfortunately I've been noticing that many of them seem to be damping-off and dying. Steve is right, they do pull out easily when small, and I agree with Will that a palm is still a palm so I attempt to save them.
