This is my S. minor today. I won't have any nights above the teens until Jan 7. That includes an 8 deg F night. Until it's above 18-20 degrees F at night this ugly plastic stays on. In a couple years I won't cover until it's maybe below 5-10 deg F. When I dropped the rock on the right it made a percussion sound like it was dropped on concrete. The formerly wet ground is frozen solid for several inches:
