Sabal minor thoughts :

I have Sabal minors volunteers coming up all over my yard and a few in my neighbors lol , but to me a palm is a palm , and I would hate the thought of digging them out like weeds . I don't plan on getting into the palm selling business so I just let them get bigger and bigger . Some are now respectably big , and others are just little sprouts . I never thought I'd have this problem lol .
I do know how to eliminate the problem in the future and that would be to cut off the inflorescences before the birds spread them or before they just fall off naturally .
Anyone else feeling guilty about digging up palm volunteers ? Am I just a little compulsive on the issue ?
Notice the Minor at the base of my Rostrata and the one behind it . Those are just two of the hundreds of palms popping up everywhere . Some young palms may actually be Sabal palmetto , Birmingham , or Louisiana too .
