I do have some older pictures, and I can take some of the center close up.
This palm was started by me from seed from rarepalmseeds.com. So no middle men, but then again RPS been mislabled seed before. What makes me think it is actually something different than princeps is that it grows so much more quickly and actually puts on trunk! My princeps is one aquired pre-2006 from Collector Palms in Texas via Golden Lotus, I believe, purchased as a potted plant. I'd purchased three small ones from Steve in Alabama around 2008, but they never really "took" and have long since perished. Voles or heat or nematodes, who knows...
