Jay , they are 8'+ . I water well and fertilize and they always get big .
There's an Alocasia at PDN that gets huge and I may get one of those in the spring . Check out their website . It should do fine with a wheel barrel load of mulch over it during the winter .
My Ensete has a tendency to not have the root system for the huge size and weight they attain . Still , I just watch for bad weather and do everything I can to keep it looking awesome each year . It takes severe weather for the root system to fail it , so it should normally not have issues .
