Not much of a root system on those,I usually have staked them up in the past.
They are easy to dig out though which is nice (for me) when its time to remove...
unless you leave it out in drought busting rains in the fall, my Ensete both weighed
a ton wheeling them down stairs for the winter....the Cacti/Pachys were no fun to carry
up either, that is why I replanted my Echinopsis Terscheckii in the cactus bed
