I had a similar issue with my tallest Elephant Ear. But it was the only one that I replaced 100% of the existing clay with pine mulch & top soil. The soil was not firm enough. I had to tie it in 2 places after a storm pushed it about 30 degrees to one side. The other EE's only had 1/3 top soil with mulch and 2/3 clay. They did well and never leaned.
Those are huge Thai Giants if I'm correct on the ID. Did any reach 7 feet tall? Some of the leaves with petioles look to be over 7 feet in length if not height.
