The tap water here is terrible. Not only to taste, but you can see it in the plants when I have to use it on them. They CLEARLY prefer rain water.
I've had tap water KILL plants.
If that's how plants react, why is it supposedly alright for human consumption? I used bottled distilled water to drink. Would love to give it to my plants during droughts, but at $1 per gallon, it's not very feasible.
