I don't think anybody would have guessed Iowa summers would be so good for tropical's.
The Flapjacks look great. They can be a tough grow.
That big Pachy..its just going nuts.Seems like it blooms all summer. My in ground is doing good..still waiting for bloom,the bigger potted one took all summer to send out 4 tiny new shoots after a winter freeze. The whole summer it took!
I should order the Tapioca. It has a Croton look to it. I think its a bit hardier..but I wont bet on it.
See? You don't need an acre to go tropical look.
